Clanwilliam is an ideal place to stay when you want to explore these mountains and offers a splendid variety of wild spring flowers during the flower season (August-September). Vrede Oord Guest Farm is also a working citrus farm where guests are welcome to walk through the orchards and taste freshly picked oranges or clementines during harvesting season (April-September).
